In collaboration with the author Roland Ducommun, I designed and laid out three books for the trilogy Gudrun. The stories follow a retired teacher from Solothurn who drives a red Mini and spends her holidays in the Goms each year. When she unexpectedly wins the lottery, her life takes a sudden turn and she finds herself in increasingly strange and dark situations.

For the visual concept of the series, I chose a reduced colour palette, with Gudrun’s red car standing out as a recurring and characteristic element. The covers visually accompany the protagonist on her journey, allowing readers to follow her not only through the text but also through the imagery as she moves through the stories.
